Mark Elliot Zuckerberg is the owner of Facebook and he was born on May 14, 1984. He is an American internet entrepreneur and philanthropist. He is the founder of Facebook and also co-founders of the solar sail spacecraft development.

Mark was born in White Plains, New York; he attended the University of Harvard where Facebook was launched on February 4, 2004. Facebook was launched with fellow roommates Eduardo Catherine, Andrew McCollum, Dustin Moskovitz, and Chris Hughes. The site was originally launched for colleges but it grew rapidly and over 2012 it was used by over one billion people. His net worth as of December 2019 was estimated at 74 us dollars. In 2007 when he was 23, he became the world’s youngest self-made billionaire.
From 2010, magazine-like the time has named mark among the 100 wealthiest and most influential people in the world as a part of its person award. In 2016 mark was ranked as 10th on Forbes list of the world’s most powerful people.
Mark Zuckerberg Early Life
Mark started using computer and writing software when he was in middle school and he was taught Atari Basic programming by his father in the 1990s but his father did hire David Newman later on to teach him. He took a graduate course at a school near his home; the name of that school was called Mercy College. He later built software for messaging but the software was considered a primitive or lower version of the AOL Instant Messenger, which came out that year.
Mark Zuckerberg’s father, Edward Zuckerberg, ran a dental practice at his home while mark mother was a psychiatrist before she gave birth to four children which were Mark, Randi, Donna, and Arielle.

How He Launched Facebook
He launched Facebook on the year February 4, 2004, from his dormitory room at the University of Harvard. Many thought what inspired him was Phillips Exeter Academy, which was true and It was the school where Mark graduated from in the year 2002.
Zuckerberg, Moskovitz and some friends moved to Palo Alto, California in Silicon Valley where they leased a small house that served as an office. Over the summer, Zuckerberg met Peter Thiel who invested in the company. They got their first office in mid-2004. According to Zuckerberg, the group planned to return to Harvard but eventually decided to remain in California. They had already turned down offers by major corporations to buy the company. In an interview in 2007, Zuckerberg explained his reasoning: “It’s not because of the amount of money. For me and my colleagues, the most important thing is that we create an open information flow for people. Having media corporations owned by conglomerates is just not an attractive idea to me.

Many companies wanted to buy the site but mark refused and turned down all offers from yahoo and MTV Networks. Undermining the pressure on him he worked and focused on expanding the site. He opens up his projects and added more features.
Later on, Mark was criticized for the proliferation of fake news posts on his site that was up to 2016. When at 2018 he announced that he will develop improved methods for helping in defending Facebook users from abuse and other social challenges. He then wrote on a Facebook page that we can’t prevent all the mistakes coming but, we currently make too many mistakes enforcing our poli9cies and preventing misuse of tools.

Mark Zuckerberg has helped the lives of many people through his donations and pledges. In the year November 2015, he and his wife Karen pledged on to their daughter that they would give 99 percent of their Facebook shares to charity.
