How To Merge Funimation and Crunchyroll Accounts

It was quite obvious that Funimation and Crunchyroll will eventually merge ever since Sony, the company that owns Funimation, bought Crunchyroll in 2021. As a result, the accounts for Funimation and Crunchyroll are currently managed separately. Thus, your Crunchyroll login information and payment information are separate from those used by Funimation account. You will need to switch between the two platforms if you wish to keep using the content on either or make changes to either account.
Except from this significant library change, Crunchyroll would continue to operate individually as usual for the meantime. While Funimation on the other hand would only receive fresh episodes of shows that were already broadcast.
Can Funimation Gift Cards Be Transferred to Crunchyroll?
If you finally decide to move to Crunchyroll, as a Funimation subscribers you may be uncertain what to do with their gift cards.
